Prof. Mangesh Bhide leads the Laboratory of Biomedical Microbiology & Immunology, where his team works on host–pathogen interactions, molecular and cellular immunology, and the molecular basis of neuroinvasion.
He serves as ICGEB Governor for Slovakia, has held an ERA Chair under FP7 and a Marie-Curie International Incoming Fellowship, and has been principal investigator on multiple EU-funded programmes (H2020, ERA-NET, EFSA). He also led the development of Omnalysis, an in-house software platform for integrated transcriptomic and proteomic data analysis.
